Version 3.0 — May 2026 | Governing law: England and Wales | VAT No. 497843034 |
[email protected]
No. 4, 22 Chambers Street, London, SE1 6XL

⚠️ Please read before you pay.
By completing this booking and submitting payment you are entering into a legally binding contract with SLI Productions LTD. The full fee is collected immediately. Because this is a booking for a live performance on a specific date, you do not have a statutory 14-day right to cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, Reg. 28(1)(h) — leisure services exemption). Your cancellation rights are set out in section 3 below.
1. How your booking works
Your booking is confirmed automatically the moment you complete the booking form, accept these Terms, and your payment is processed. No manual approval is needed. You will receive a Booking Confirmation by email within 24 hours — please check your junk folder. This email is your contract record and confirms your performance date, times, and fee. We will record a timestamped log of your acceptance of these Terms, which we may rely on in the event of any dispute.

2. Price and payment
The price shown is the total amount inclusive of VAT (VAT No. 497843034). 100% of the fee is collected at the time of booking to secure your date and musicians. If a pricing error occurs we will contact you promptly — you may accept the corrected price or cancel for a full refund within 3 business days.

3. Cancellation
Because this is a booking for a live performance on a specific date, the standard 14-day statutory cancellation right does not apply. The following schedule applies instead. All refunds are processed within 30 business days of receiving your written cancellation notice.

Notice given Non-refundable
Within 48 hours of booking (event 14+ days away) 0% — full refund
Within 48 hours of booking (event within 14 days) 100% — no refund
More than 30 days before the event 75% — 25% refunded
Within 30 days of the event 100% — no refund

To cancel: email [email protected] with your name, event date, and booking reference. Cancellation takes effect from the time we receive your email. We will acknowledge within 2 business days.

If we need to cancel due to a genuine system error or unavailability, you will be notified within 24 hours and receive a full refund within 3 business days. For bookings with less than 14 days’ notice, please contact us directly for availability and a quote.

💡 We strongly recommend purchasing event cancellation insurance before confirming your booking.

4. Performance times
Your musicians will perform for 2 x 45 minutes and will be on site for three hours in total. They will arrive 45 minutes before the performance start time — this is when the 3-hour window begins. They can be flexible on the day and adjust set times by up to 15 minutes as needed, but require a minimum 20-minute break and cannot be on site for longer than three hours.

A late start caused by the venue or client does not entitle you to a late finish, extension, or refund. Any extension must be agreed in writing in advance and will incur an additional fee.

5. Your venue obligations
You are responsible for ensuring the venue provides:
A safe power supply
An adequate, flat performance area
All required public entertainment and music licences
No noise limiters that would prevent or impair the performance
Shelter from sun, wind, and rain if the event is outdoors — please tell us at the time of booking if this applies 1 x armless chair for the cellist
A venue at room temperature if indoors
A private green room for the musicians to change and store their belongings
Water and refreshments for the musicians
Please verify all of the above before booking. If the performance cannot go ahead due to noise restrictions, no refund will be issued.

Failure to hold the required music or entertainment licence does not constitute force majeure and does not entitle you to cancel without charge.

6. Parking, load-in, and meals
Where musicians travel by vehicle, please provide one parking space per vehicle and an unloading area within 5 metres of the entrance (or reimburse reasonable parking costs). Where musicians are on site for more than 3 hours, a hot meal must be provided for each musician. If this is not possible, a £25 (inc. VAT) per musician allowance will be invoiced within 2 business days of the event, payable within 7 business days.

7. If a musician is unavailable
If one or more musicians cannot attend, we will arrange a suitable replacement — same instrumentation and equivalent professional standard — at no extra cost. If we cannot find a suitable replacement, or you reasonably reject our proposed substitute, you will receive a full refund. Where only part of the group is affected, we will agree a pro-rata fee adjustment or offer full cancellation with a full refund.

8. Recordings
You and your guests may make personal, non-commercial recordings of the performance (for example, as part of a wedding video). These must not be used commercially — including for TV, advertising, live-streaming, or broadcast — without our written permission. We reserve the right to film and photograph our musicians at the event; this will always be discreet and will not affect your event or experience.

9. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to circumstances genuinely beyond their reasonable control — including severe weather, war, pandemic, or a medical emergency affecting a musician (subject to our substitution obligations in section 7). The party relying on force majeure must notify the other in writing as soon as possible. If force majeure applies, the cancellation fee schedule does not apply and we will refund the fee in full, less any costs we have already irrecoverably incurred, which we will itemise for you.

10. Our liability
Our total liability to you will not exceed the total fee you paid. We are not liable for indirect losses, loss of profit, or loss of goodwill. We do not limit or exclude liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or any liability we cannot lawfully exclude under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Misrepresentation Act 1967.

11. Your data
SLI Productions LTD is the data controller for personal data you provide. We use it to manage your booking and provide our services. We will not sell your data or share it for marketing without your consent. We share limited information with your performing musicians (name, event date, venue) and our payment and accounting providers only. You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your data — contact us at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

12. Non-solicitation
Any future bookings or engagements involving musicians introduced or provided by Via Electro Swing Project / SLI Productions must be arranged exclusively through Via Electro Swing Project / SLI Productions.

13. Dispute resolution
SLI Productions does not participate in an approved Alternative Dispute Resolution scheme. Any unresolved disputes may be pursued through the courts of England and Wales.

14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

15. General
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. No variation to these Terms is valid unless confirmed in writing by an authorised representative of SLI Productions LTD. The version of these Terms in force at the time of your booking confirmation governs your contract.

16. Acceptance
By clicking “I agree to the Terms and Conditions” and completing payment, you confirm you have read and agreed to these Terms in full.
