We at the Electro Swing Project love nothing more than to perform for you at your Christmas party, wedding or corporate event. Whether it is one of our Cabaret and Circus Shows or our exclusive Electro Swing Band. We pour our heart and soul into making sure your event is the best it possibly can be. Below you will see some of the FAQs and things you might like to know to what goes in to building your event and making sure we can perform the best we possibly can for you.
Where is the band based?
The Electro Swing Project are based in London and travel throughout the UK and Worldwide for private events.
How are the travel Expenses calculated?
When the band are travelling to an event outside of London we charge a travel allowance per person. This is an average cost for what it would cost each person to get to your event, allowing for the cost of their time to travel to your event in that cost.
Why is this you may ask? The musicians and performers will be working throughout the day and night, they do not just perform in the evening. To travel a long distance to an event means they are unable to take on other work that day. They subsequently have to be paid for the time it takes to get to you.
If the event is a more than a two hour drive from London or the band is finishing past the last train we charge for a long distance allowance so the band can book a hotel if they would like or need to.
For events abroad they would need to be charged for the travel days either side of the event.
The band doesn’t always get the train, some of the act will drive.
How long does the band perform for?
The band perform for 2 x 45 – 50 minute sets over three hours. In between the sets the band can play a background music set or you can supply a device with a mini jack connection and we can play that for you.
What does the band sound like live?
The band performs to Live Loops for the full Electro Swing sound. This means that anything that is not performed live by an instrument will be played as a pre triggered loop for each song. So regardless of what line up you choose it will sound exactly as the videos and demos you hear on our website. The three piece band line up is perfect for smaller spaces, but maintains the big full sound of a nine piece band.
what is the most booked line up?
One of our most popular line ups for weddings is our three piece electro swing band. It allows for the perfect Electro Swing experience whilst keeping things in budget. It is also a popular line up to book earlier in the day as an accompaniment to your drinks reception, then scaling up to a five piece – nine piece band with DJ and dancers for the afterparty. The after party band line up is an impressive 5 – 9 piece band with DJ. The band transitions from Pop Electro Swing and 1920’s Big Band Hit remixes in an Electro Swing style, into your pop and party club mixes to end the night. With something for everyone this band is the perfect band for all age groups and backgrounds. Making it one of the most popular choices for weddings and corporate parties.
How much does the band cost?
The band starts from just £1750 for the trio electro swing band and can scale up from here to a full 9 piece band with DJ.
